Which is better for the environment? Paper towels or hand-dryers? Paper or plastic cups? Chicken or beef? Hybrid or V6? Organic food or conventionally-grown food? Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an internationally recognised method which can be used to answer these and many other questions - often with some surprising results! The two day introductory course covers methodology and practical issues relating to LCA. The course includes a series of lectures, workshops and case studies.
